WARNING: You need to add a valid token, you must go to the APP settings on Facebook and generate a valid token then paste it in the module configuration.

Hello, what are the steps to follow to make the module work?

Thank you very much for the documentation. I have a question: The instagram user used in the apps should be the same that we will show in the module?

I have followed all steps I have copied the token and even so the module does not appear right

The url is www.mariajoseherrera.cl/ in the bottom left is the module

The username that is added in the module is recommended to be the same, this username has nothing to do with obtaining the content from Instagram, it is used only to organize folders where data is stored in Joomla and to generate the profile (usernames and links), the FEED is obtained from the App.

You can check in /cache/mod_ut_joomstagram/YOUR_USERNAME if there is a file called feed.json and what content does it have? Send image capture. We may have a bug because your username has symbols, otherwise the module should show the error generated.

Hi,
I followed all the steps and the feed that is shown is the same as the user that generated the token in the Instagram app. The field "Instagram Username" in the UT Joomstagram module does not seem to change anything.

Hello.. , In that file I see {"data": []}

I have tried putting other insta users in the module and it doesn't show them either

I don't know if it will be necessary to change the application mode from "In developed" to "Live". When trying to change it, I get a message

Hi carlosdel1 please send me you token as confidential (in editor click in padlock icon and paste your token). We are going to verify in our terminal if data is being obtained. On the other hand, the Application on Facebook must be in Development mode, because when you put it live, the instagram tester is unlinked.

Hi Carlosdel1, Apparently your token is correct, because it does not show any error message. But DATA is empty, are you sure your facebook application is in development mode? And that the Instagram user you selected as a tester has posts on Instagram? because the data is obtained from that user that you select as a tester.

Yes, the application is under development. The user used as tester does not have publications, but the user that I want to show in the module does have www.instagram.com/joseherrera_imagen_/

Hi Carlosdel1, from the beginning it was said that the data is obtained from the facebook application, that is, from the user added as a tester. It was also said that the user added in the module must be the same, in order to generate the link to the profile and organize data if it is used with several FEED's and APP's

In short, in your Facebook application you have to change the tester for the real one (the one with posts) and get a new token

Thanks leoalv, apparently in the documentation it does not say that the instagram to show must be the same as the instagram tester.
Just today I was able to configure the module because the instagram belongs to a client, therefore I did not have access to the instagram. Therefore I had to connect remotely to do it from his computer, since the password is something private. But ok, now it works and looks correctly, thank you very much
